270 Belted Newton

This wildcat cartridge was rumored to be designed by Vernon Speer of Speer Products in the late 1950’s. Vernon Speer was fascinated by the original Newton Cartridge but never liked the unbelted magnum case. The Belted Newton is a shorter case than your traditional 300 H&H or 375 H&H . This will enable to Chamber In standard length bolt action rifles.

Please note : This case will “NOT FIT” In Original Newton Rifles nor will it chamber in custom rifles made for Original Newton Chambers
