45 ACP Shot Shells M15

The M15 was adopted Dec 1943. It had approximately 118 - 7 1/2 chilled lead shot pellets. It functions through a standard magazine and fully operates the action. Supposedly in 1945 the Army Air Force included a smooth choke-bore barrel in the 'jungle kit' to improve the shot pattern.

Due to the wide variety of 45 ACP pistols, we are unable to verify if they function in all makes and models. They will function in Colt M 1911, Colt gold Cup

Crimping Instruction

All our cases have starter Crimp. Full crimping can be done simply with no additional die set. Start with your 45ACP Crimp- Seater die . Install your Crimp-seater die as usual in your press so die touches the Shell holder @ the top of Stroke. Back Out The round nose seat stem. Install the loaded Round with shot and Top wad complete.. Run case In die to Top of stroke. Screw seating plug down until it makes contact to case. Start to screw In seat die 1/8 turn . Check Case. Repeat die Screw in until desired crimp is achieved.

Please note Shotshells do not need a heavy Crimp Just enough to keep Wad in Place
